AIRBEAT-ONE FESTIVAL 2018 ‘GREAT BRITAIN’
Tomorrowland superstars Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, Tujamo and Neelix are the first headliners
The 2018 Airbeat-One festival will take place from 11th – 15th July 2018 at the airfield outside the idyllic town of Neustadt-Glewe in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. And northern Germany’s biggest electronic music festival has now begun announcing the first headliners for the 17th edition.
Hardwell, two-times DJ Mag Top 100 chart topper from the Netherlands, was the first megastar to be announced. The wave that the Dutch superstar has been riding continued to grow in magnitude in 2017.
His massive hit single ‘Creatures Of The Night’ with pop star Austin Mahone, from the soon-to-be-released mix album ‘Revealed Vol. 8’, sold-out concerts around the world, his ‘Limited Edition’ series of parties in Ibiza and sets at all the key festivals including Tomorrowland, the Ultra Music festival and Dance Valley are testimonies to his blockbuster success.
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike
The Tomorrowland superstars and No. 1 in the 2015 DJ Mag Top 100, have likewise signed up for the 2018 Airbeat-One festival. The Belgian duo have a proud track record of hit singles that includes tracks like ‘Higher Place’ with Ne-Yo, which went platinum in their home country and gave them their first No. 1 in the Billboard Magazine’s Dance Charts, and ‘Hey Baby’ with Diplo and Deb’s Daughter.
Their new track ‘Complicated’, produced with David Guetta and featuring the voice of pop diva Kiiara from Illinois, was released at the end of July. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike seem to like it at the Airbeat-One festival; this will be the fourth time that the Belgians have appeared at the Neustadt-Glewe gig.
The festival has also attracted two home-grown talents in the form of Neelix, the star of the psytrance scene, and Tujamo, currently the best German in the DJ Mag Top 100. Weekly announcements of additional headliners will be made at 1pm every Friday on www.facebook.com/airbeatone
The trip to a distant realm of myths and unfamiliar cultures will take place from 11th – 15th July 2018 at the airfield outside the idyllic town of Neustadt-Glewe. In 2017 fans were treated to the biggest festival stage ever seen in Germany and were transfixed by a backdrop reminiscent of the Capitol in Washington. In 2018 the theme will be “Great Britain”!
